WNYers face storm damage

The buffeting, battering winds that bombarded the Buffalo area all day Wednesday finally have died down. The ice-filled lake waters, which rose an astonishing 8 feet during the height of the windstorm, subsided. The sun is even expected to peek out from the clouds a few times today with temperatures climbing to near 30 degrees.
