Firefighters worked through the night to successfully hold back a 10,000-acre fire coming close to the edges of a southwestern Utah housing development. Strong winds also forced many residents in the New Harmony area to evacuate and no homes were believed to still be in immediate danger. At a community meeting earlier in the day, officials announced the evacuation of the 27 home Harmony Heights development, but within the next hour, the evacuation was extended to the whole 1,200 resident New Harmony area.
