Tornadoes, Windstorms Cause Significant Damage In Eastern Texas

High winds and at least two tornadoes caused significant damage to structures in Alvin, Friendswood, Alief, La Porte, Pasadena, Manvel and many other areas Saturday morning. Brazoria County Office of Emergency Management officials confirmed two people were hurt when a small tornado flipped a trailer on Pine Colony Street. Three people in Manvel also suffered minor injuries because of wind damage. An EF2 tornado tore through Friendswood early Saturday. It ripped the roof off a house near FM 2351 and Chester Drive.
